Owner and Certified Massage Therapist, Jessica Gomez, is passionate about using massage therapy to help people feel and move well so they can fully live out their God-given purpose. Growing up an athlete, she has always had a love and fascination with the study of the human body. That love only grew as she studied the science of human movement at California State University, Fullerton where she graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. Both during and after college, Jessica began working in various physical therapy clinics learning more about the rehabilitative side of healthcare. She was tasked with assisting patients with their therapeutic exercise programs and administering ice/hot packs, electrical stimulation, and Kinsio tape.
After a few years in the physical therapy field, Jessica decided to pursue a personal goal of becoming a police officer. While in the hiring process with a specific agency, she suffered a complete tear of the ACL in her right knee. Devastated but determined, she began the long, grueling recovery process. Months into recovery, while working tirelessly to regain the range of motion and strength in her knee, Jessica received some much needed manual therapy. She was amazed at how much it helped her recovery and then realized that she could combine both her Kinesiology background and injury experience to help others just like her.
She began pursuing and studying massage therapy at National Holistic Institute in Santa Ana, California. She has since graduated with honors and achieved the title of Massage Therapist & Health Educator. Throughout her in-depth study of massage therapy, Jessica's passion for its health and healing benefits grew immensely. So much so, that she has decided to continue her studies into the field of Neuromuscular Massage Therapy. She is thankful for the path that led her here and finds great joy in helping people who are recovering from injuries or suffering from chronic pain so they can live a more healthy and purposeful life.
We are passionate about helping people reach optimal health so they can then go out and move with purpose. We accomplish this goal by:
You will reap the benefits of massage if it becomes a regular part of your life. Our goal is for us to work together to take better care of your health, long-term.
Communication is key. Your therapist needs to know what you're feeling, experiencing and what you're looking to gain in order to best help you. In turn, they will explain the treatment and what you can expect to gain from it.
Massage is a tool to help heal. Whether it's stress, pain or maintenance, the benefits of massage can be life changing. We would be honored to take that journey with you.
